The American company Norland International, a leader in bottled water equipment, designed a Blow molding machine that specializes in the production of polylactic acid (PLA) water bottles. It is designed to produce water bottles that are processed from polylactic acid (PLA) materials. In fact, this machine, called "Free Series", can be used with polylactic acid parisons based on corn-based thermoplastics developed by NatureWork. Depending on the size of the bottle, the device can produce up to 4500 preforms per hour.
